This wedding weekend in the rolling hills of Fredericksburg, Virginia, started with the most extraordinary sunset, with clouds turning a cotton candy pink, orange and purple. Everyone at the rehearsal dinner rushed outside to see the amazing spectacle. It felt like destiny in action and signaled to everyone just how amazing the coming weekend was going to be.
Cheree Berry has a wonderful range of creative invitations. The bride went for a very classic design but Cheree’s signature charm can be seen here in the slanted calligraphy and subtle details, like matching custom stamps.
The bridesmaid “toasting” shot has become a bit of a thing on the timeline, not always to a good effect. I find the moment can feel staged. But not these ladies! Everyone was having such a great time.
Custom matches was a must have detail for their exit at the end of the night. I collect so many of these matching in my home and it’s always a reminder of the fun I had at each wedding. I think it makes for a great guest favor.
Up close on the Mira Zwillinger lace. Extraordinary!
Some sentimental pieces for a classic shot of Carly’s accessories.
So lovely! This portrait was shot in film on my Contax 645 camera.
Personalized hangers ftw!
Lovely flowers in classic white.
Many happy moments during this wonderful weekend.
For a November wedding, a hot drink is a considerate touch. Hot apple cider was offered to guests after their outdoor ceremony.
The hora!
